Published: April 11, 2021
Red-hot striker Paul Onuachu was on target as Racing Genk thrashed Sint-Truiden 4-0 in a Belgian First Division A clash at the Luminus Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The former FC Midtjylland man is in the best form of his career for club and country as he has now netted 31 goals combined for Genk and the Super Eagles since the season started.
With the help of Onuachu, Racing Genk have consolidated their second position in the standings, collecting thirteen points from a possible fifteen in their last five games.
The home team had already put the game to bed heading into the interval thanks to goals from Theo Bongonda, Bryan Heynen and Kristian Thorstvedt.
Onuachu's strike seven minutes into the second half compounded the misery of Sint-Truiden, it was his 27th goal in the Belgian First Division A this term.
The lanky striker has now scored in four consecutive matches, including his efforts off the bench in the wins against the Republic of Benin and Lesotho.
