Pundit reveals EPL clubs will gladly pay 30M Euros to sign 31-goal Racing Genk striker Onuachu
Published: April 30, 2021
Belgian football pundit Patrick Goots believes that English Premier League clubs will not hesitate to sign Racing Genk star Paul Onuachu for a fee of thirty million euros.
The lanky striker is Nigeria's top scoring player in Europe this season with 31goals in all competitions - 29 in the Belgian First Division and another two in the Belgian Cup.
A candidate for the Belgian Professional Footballer of the Year award, Onuachu has been tipped to depart for a new challenge in the summer transfer window.
"People often look at the top scorer. For his height (2.01m, ed.) He is technically reasonably skilled and fast," Goots was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.
"Wesley Moraes, the ex-striker of Club Brugge, came close a few years ago, but I think Onuachu a better version of Wesley.
"In England they will gladly pay those thirty million for him".
FC Ebedei product Onuachu joined Racing Genk from Danish club FC Midtjylland in August 2019 in exchange for six million euros.
