Former Racing Genk midfielder Gert Claessens is convinced that Paul Onuachu will cut it in the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga.
Onuachu has been on everybody's lips following his outstanding performances for Genk who are on the verge of qualifying for next season's Champions League third qualifying round.
The Limburg club have won the Belgian Cup and the successes would not have been possible if not for the goal contributions of Onuachu.
The FC Ebedei product continues to break records, smashing in 33 gals in 37 matches in the Belgian First Division A.
Racing Genk are resigned to losing the striker but will be aiming to get the highest value possible.
"Onuachu is ready for a step higher. This striker is one for England or Spain," Gert Claessens told TVL Sport via voetbalbelgie.
Onuachu has a contract with Racing Genk for three more seasons.
