Sancho's imminent move to Man Utd : Nigerian intermediary reaches agreement on agency fees
Published: June 24, 2021
According to celebrated transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano via Instagram, Nigerian intermediary Emeka Obasi, who looks after Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho, has reached an agreement with Manchester United over the agency fees to be paid to his company when the England winger completes his transfer to the Premier League giants.
Sancho is Elite Project Group Limited's flagship client and the English-based agency has an impressive clientele of Super Eagles players in their ranks including Joe Aribo (Glasgow Rangers), Alex Iwobi (Everton), Terem Moffi (Lorient), Josh Maja (Bordeaux) and Ola Aina (Fulham).
Some of the other Nigeria-eligible players Obasi advises are Malcolm Ebiowei, Folarin Balogun, Chuba Akpom, Tobi Omole and Fred Onyedinma.
Romano has informed that Sancho will sign a deal until 2026 and agency fees have been agreed two weeks ago, without revealing the exact commission.
All parties involved in the deal taking the former Manchester City starlet to the Red Devils, including Obasi, are confident and optimistic that a final agreement will be reached in the next few days.
Manchester United are willing to pay up to €85m plus performance-related add-ons for Sancho while Borussia Dortmund are holding firm on their asking price of €95m.
