'Definitely our future captain' - Arsenal's Nigerian fans react to Kieran Tierney's new deal

Scotland international Kieran Tierney has signed a new deal with Arsenal, the Gunners officially announced on Friday, June 25.

Signed from Glasgow Celtic in the summer of 2019, the Scot has been given a new contract after emerging as one of their standout performers in recent seasons.

The 24-year-old has played 62 matches for Arsenal in all competitions since his arrival, scoring three goals and registering twelve assists.

Many Arsenal fans based in Nigeria were delighted with the new deal penned by the left-back and consider him worthy enough to captain the Gunners in the future.
