Brentford-bound Super Eagles star previously admitted Chelsea was his dream club; Kante role model

Nigeria international Frank Onyeka is close to a finalizing a switch to Premier League boys Brentford.
The FC Ebedei product has been linked with a departure from FC Midtjylland since last summer but the Wolves managed to convince him to stay for one more season as they needed his services for the UEFA Champions League.
The 23-year-old put himself in the shop window after a string of fine displays in the Danish Superliga and is set to depart Midtjylland after 123 appearances spread across four seasons.
If Onyeka had his way he would prefer a move to Stamford Bridge over his soon-to-be new employers Brentford, having admitted that Chelsea was his dream club.
Speaking to bold.dk last month, Onyeka stated : "They (Brentford) play a lot on strength, and they run a lot. I think I will fit in well. I watch English football more or less every weekend because Chelsea is my favourite team.
"So I've seen how they play in England and I think it suits my style well. It could be a good opportunity for me to switch there."
The defensive midfielder also previously admitted that Chelsea's World Cup winner N'Golo Kante was his role model.
"I'm a fan of N'Golo Kante. I should not be able to say if I play like him, but some say it about me and my playing style," Onyeka told Danish sports magazine Tipsbladet in 2018.
Onyeka has one cap for three-time African champions Nigeria and it came in a friendly against Algeria last October.
