Official : Nigeria international striker extends contract at Sevilla FC Femenino

Spanish Primera Iberdrola side Sevilla FC Femenino have announced that Nigeria international Toni Payne has inked a new contract with the club.
The new deal will keep the striker at Las Rojiblancas until at least June 30, 2024 having put pen to paper on a three-year agreement.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, United States, Payne has recorded 81 appearances in the Spanish top-flight since her debut for Sevilla and has sixteen goals to her name.
Payne was delighted to extend her stay at Sevilla and highlighted that she wants to continue representing the Super Falcons next season.
"I am excited and excited to continue here and thus be able to continue helping the team, I feel very comfortable in Seville," Payne told Sevilla's official website.
"I have been here for three years, I like the club's project and I want to continue growing in this place.
"I have learned a new style of football, I have improved a lot by learning from my coaches and my teammates and I want to continue doing so."
She added : "Personally I have played with Nigeria this season and next season I want to continue doing it and with it improve in Seville".
Before transferring to Sevilla, Payne wore the colours of Ajax Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Duke Blue Devils women's soccer team in her country of birth.
