Newly-signed midfielder Bosun Lawal netted on his league debut for Glasgow Celtic B in their season opener against Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic on Saturday, July 17.
Former Watford schoolboy Lawal was confirmed as a player of Celtic B on Friday and all the required paperwork was completed on time for him to make his bow for the Scottish club.
The 18-year-old went the distance as Celtic suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic at New Dundas Park, Midlothian.
This season, Celtic B are competing in the Lowland Football League, the fifth-tier of Scottish football.
Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic were leading 2-0 after 49 minutes thanks to goals from Lee Currie and George Hunter before Lawal reduced the arrears on the hour mark.
The Irish-Nigerian youngster slid the ball into the net following a cross from Tsoanelo Letsosa.
Tobi Oluwayemi started in goal for Celtic B - his Lowland League debut - but was replaced three minutes into the second half after suffering an injury as he came to collect a cross.
