Official : Fulham confirm squad numbers for three Nigeria-eligible players
Published: July 30, 2021
Through their official website, Championship club Fulham have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2021-2022 season.
Three players of Nigerian descent in the shape of Tosin Adarabioyo, Josh Onomah and Sylvester Japser were listed among the first teamers allocated shirt numbers.
While Adarabioyo and Onomah have kept the number 16 and 25 respectively they used last season, Anglo-Bulgarian-Nigerian winger Jasper is taking the number 61 for the new season.
Jasper wore the number 58 at the back of his jersey when he made the bench for Fulham's last match of the 2020-2021 Premier League season against Newcastle United.
The former England U15 international recently trained with League One club Sheffield Wednesday but nothing came out of it.
Adarabioyo has Championship experience under his belt, playing 63 games combined for Blackburn Rovers and West Brom on loan from Manchester City, while Onomah recorded 31 appearances for the Cottagers in the second-tier during the 2019-2020 season.
Fulham are at home to Middlesbrough in their Championship opener on Sunday, August 8.
