La Liga new boys join Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio, Salernitana in race to sign Super Eagles star

La Liga newcomers RCD Mallorca are the latest club linked with a move for Nigeria international Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo.
According to Italian transfer market guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Crotone have received a concrete offer for the tall striker.
The Spanish club are ready to pay 3.5 million euros to sign Simy but face competition from Italian and Premier League clubs.
Tottenham Hotspur have identified the Super Eagles star as a transfer target to provide support for Harry Kane in the new season, while Lazio and Salernitana are his main suitors in Italy.
A final decision on the future of Simy is expected to be made in the coming days.
The 29-year-old has spent the last five years of his career at Crotone, appearing in 159 games and scoring 66 goals, including 20 last season which saw him finish the campaign as the fifth highest goalscorer in the Serie A.
Simy, who has entered the last twelve months of his contract at The Sharks, previously wore the colours of
Portimonense and Gil Vicente in Europe.
