Published: August 11, 2021
Through a statement on their official website, WFC CSKA Moscow, the women's team of CSKA Moscow, have announced the signing of Nigeria international Francisca Ordega.
The length of contract and financial details of the deal have not been disclosed by the Muscovites.
Ordega, a seasoned international with the Super Falcons, last wore the colours of Levante in Spain before she was snapped up by CSKA Moscow.
The 27-year-old is returning to Russia for a second spell after a stint with Rossiyanka in 2012.
She played in the domestic championship for Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels before moving abroad.
A three-time World Cupper having represented Nigeria at the 2011, 2015 and 2019 Women's World Cup, Ordega was African champion in 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2018.
A globetrotter in football terms, she also counts Piteå IF (Sweden), Washington Spirit (United States) , Sydney FC (Australia), Atlético Madrid (Spain) and Shanghai Shengli (China) as her previous clubs.
