Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the
Nigerian players that found the net for their respective clubs
in league matches across Europe on Wednesday, August 18.
In a Championship clash at the Riverside Stadium, Queens Park Rangers ran out 3-2 winners against Middlesbrough despite playing with ten men for more than forty minutes following the sending off of Super Eagles hopeful Moses Odubajo.
Uche Ikpeazu gave the home team the lead from the penalty spot in the seventh minute, his second goal in two games having opened his account last weekend vs Bristol City.
Remaining with the division, Bournemouth registered an impressive 2-0 road win over Birmingham City at the St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium, with all the goals netted in the last thirteen minutes.
Chelsea academy product Dominic Solanke held off his man and fired into the bottom corner to break the deadlock in the 77th minute - his first of the season.
In the Norwegian First Division, Sandnes Ulf edged Stroemmen by the odd goal in five, with former Flying Eagles winger Maxwell Effiom netting his first goal in 2021.
Fifteen minutes from time, Effiom helped turn the game around, scoring to make it 2-2 after coming off the bench.
