2 goals in 8 league matches : Bayern Munich II CB Lawrence reaches highest market value
Bayern Munich II central defender Jamie Lawrence, 18, has reached a career high market value following a brilliant start to the 2021-2022 season.

The Germany youth international of Nigerian descent is now valued at 700,000 euros by Transfermarkt, an increase of 200,000 euros compared to his market value in June 2021.

The promising young defender extended his contract with Bayern Munich in May, putting pen to paper on a deal that keeps him at the German champions until the summer of 2024.

Standing at 6ft 7in, Lawrence has been tipped to break into Bayern Munich's first team in the not too distant future having trained with the squad during the pre-season.

Upon his return to the reserves, he netted in his first  competitive appearance of the season as Bayern Munich II thrashed FC Memmingen 4-0 in the Regionalliga Bayern, before salvaging a point for the Munich side in the sixth minute of stoppage time versus TSV Buchbach  last Friday to take his tally to two goals in eight league matches.

Lawrence earned his first cap for Germany at U20 level against Czech Republic this month and played another non-binding game for Germany U17s in 2019.

He is the seventh most expensive player in the Bayern Munich II squad and Regionalliga Bayern.
