Flower helps Chelsea return to winning ways in U18 PL with second goal of the season
Chelsea returned to winning ways in the U18 Premier League with a 3-0 victory over Reading at Cobham Training Center on Saturday afternoon.

2019 Golden Eaglets invitee Prince Adegoke was joined in the Blues starting lineup by Richard Olise the younger brother of Super Eagles target Michael Olise, fullback Derrick Abu and striker Louis Flower.

As for Reading, Princewill Ehibhatioman started and was in action for ninety minutes.

It was a disjointed performance by the Royals and Abraham Kanu's sending off in the 36th minute didn't help their chances of being in the contest.

Leo Castledine headed home the opener just before halftime and Flower, who was bright in the second half, doubled the advantage with a brilliant left-footed finish in the 52nd minute to take his tally in the league to two goals.

The Anglo-Nigerian center forward netted against the same opponents in the U18 Premier League Cup exactly two weeks ago.

Born October 2004, Flower signed his first professional contract with Chelsea this month.
