Aston Villa, Celtic & Brentford starlets eligible for Nigeria become provisionally cap-tied to England
Aston Villa wonderkid Carney Chukwuemeka, Glasgow Celtic goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi and Brentford fullback Daniel Oyegoke are now provisionally cap-tied to England, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Chukwuemeka qualifies to represent Nigeria through his father as well as Austria the country he was born, while Oluwayemi and Oyegoke were born in England.

The trio became provisionally cap-tied to the English Football Association on Wednesday when they were named in the starting lineup for the Young Lions against Andorra in a UEFA Under-19 European Championship staged at Skytteholms IP in Stockholm.

Previously Oluwayemi and Oyegoke had played non-binding games for England at U16, U17 and U18 levels, and Chukwuemeka earned caps for the U17 and U18 national teams.

The aforementioned players have to submit a request for a change of association if they decide to switch their nationalities to Nigeria in future, provided that they have not played competitively for the Three Lions.

The Anglo-Nigerians impressed in their first competitive game for England at any level, with Chuwkuemeka getting his name on the scoresheet in the 41st minute, while goalkeeper Oluwayemi and defender Oyegoke helped the Young Lions keep a clean sheet in a 4-0 rout of Andorra.

Tobi's elder brother, Joshua Oluwayemi, trained with the Super Eagles in the United States in July before an international friendly against Mexico, but was a non-playing substitute.
