Ex-England striker convinced that Ndidi has what it takes to play for Manchester United

Former England international John Fashanu believes Wilfred Ndidi has what it takes to play for Manchester United.
Manchester United are known to be focused on
adding a new defensively minded midfielder to their ranks and the former Wimbledon striker is convinced that Ndidi fits the bill perfectly.
Allnigeriasoccer.com previously reported that the Super Eagles star will remain a player of Leicester City when the transfer window closes
for business in January 2022 amid speculation linking him with a switch
to Old Trafford.
Ndidi has risen through the ranks to the top of the game, starting off his career at Nath Boys in Lagos before transferring to Racing Genk, from where he moved to Leicester City in January 2017.
Regarded as the standout Nigerian player in the Premier League, he was a player of interest to Jose Mourinho in 2016 but the United board did not approve the transfer.
"United have watched him (Ndidi) for years and people need to know that they are one of the best and the richest clubs in the world," Fashanu told the Punch.
"They can buy whoever they want instantly, the fact that they’ve been watching him for two seasons means he wasn’t ready to make the big step at the Old Trafford back then.
"Now that they are going for him, it shows that they are convinced that he is ready to make the big move. They now believe in him and are ready to give him a chance."

Since Ndidi was given his Premier League bow by former Leicester City coach Claudio Ranieri, he has gone on to make 153 appearances in the top-flight with a goal involvement of seventeen.
