Aribo strikes again, Bassey almost scores another OG as Rangers beat Hearts
Glagsow Rangers made it four successive league wins under new boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst after beating Heart of Midlothian 2-0 at Tynecastle Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Dutch football tactician made six changes to the team which held Lyon to a 1-1 draw, one of which saw Joe Aribo start as part of a three-man engine room.

Calvin Bassey continues to deputize for the rehabbing central defender Leon Balogun, starting his sixth consecutive game in all competitions.

Rangers took the lead nine minutes in as Alfredo Morelos drove the ball home after it was laid on a plate for him by Zambia star Fashion Sakala.

At minute thirteen, Aribo thundered a left-footed shot past Craig Gordon to give Rangers a comfortable two-goal advantage.

The Nigeria international has been in great form since Giovanni van Bronckhorst took over the managerial reins, scoring in three of his last four matches in the Premiership.

In the 53rd minute, Bassey who netted an own goal in a recent game against Lyon, almost scored another one as he diverted a dangerous cross against his own crossbar.

Aribo went into the referee's notebook for a late clumsy challenge with twenty minutes left on the clock.

Hearts tried to get back into the game in the second half but were denied by the woodwork or thwarted by the excellent Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
