Former Grimsby Town striker Moses Ogbu has completed his transfer to Pohang Steelers, the Korean top-flight club have announced through their social media channels.

The length of contract signed by the Swedish-Nigerian center forward has not been disclosed but allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that he put pen to paper on a one-season contract that will keep him at Pohang Steelers until December 2022.

Ogbu passed with flying colours all the medical tests and is scheduled to join his teammates in training this afternoon South Korean time.

Despite his age, at 32, he is described as a resilient and pacy striker with physical attributes.

On his curriculum vitae, the experienced attacker previously wore the colours of Gimo IF, IK Sirius, Jönköpings Södra, Al-Ain, Mjällby AIF and Wuhan Three Towns, apart from his spell in England with Grimsby Town.

Ogbu tallied 19 goals in 31 appearances in the Chinese League One in 2021.
