Hornets hero Odion Ighalo reveals his favourite Watford goal and coach
Odion Ighalo has picked his superb strike against Everton on his Premier League debut on the opening day of the 2015-16 season as his best goal for Watford.

The Nigeria national teamer was playing at then partner club Granada before Gino Pozzo convinced him to join Watford in the summer of 2014 to help them secure promotion to the Premier League.

He made a splash in his maiden season in England, scoring 20 goals in the Championship including a double brace in a 7-2 rout of Blackpool.

Less than ten minutes into his Premier League debut off the bench, Ighalo fired past Toffees goalkeeper Tim Howard to restore Watford's one-goal advantage.

On his favourite Watford goal, Ighalo told Inside The Hive : "My goal against Everton; that was my first goal in the Premier League.

" It meant a lot to me, the Premier League was my dream, and to score in my first game meant so much to me."

The former Udinese striker scored 39 goals in 100 appearances in two and a half years at Vicarage Road before sealing a transfer to Changchun Yatai  in January 2017.

Seventeen of those goals were scored with Quique Sánchez Flores in the Watford dugout and it's not a surprise that he has chosen the Spaniard as his favourite Hornets manager.

"I would say Quique [Sánchez Flores]. When I played with him he had just taken over after promotion. I played behind Troy Deeney and after two games he changed it and put Troy behind.

"He tried to give me confidence, told me to take my chances, and he was one of my favourite managers."
