Four Nigerian players Marvin Ekpiteta, Michael Ihiekwe, Paul Onuachu and Anthony Nwakaeme have been named in Whoscored.com's Team of the Month for their respective divisions.
Blackpool's former Nigeria U20 international Ekpiteta has been selected among the eleven outstanding players in the Championship for the month of February.
With a rating of 7.5, the 26-year-old starts as one of the two center backs in a 4-4-2 formation.
Ekpiteta was involved in four of the six matches played by the Seasiders in the second-tier last month, scoring two goals.
A division lower, Super Eagles hopeful Ihiekwe cracked the League One Team of the Month after helping Rotherham United post six clean sheets in February.
The former Liverpool schoolboy has donned the captain's armband in several league matches this season.
The experienced center back bagged an assist in a 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday on February 13.
Paul Onuachu has been named in the Belgian Pro League Team of the Month following a fruitful month that saw him score three goals and notch three assists in six matches.
The Super Eagle helped Racing Genk pick up twelve points from a possible eighteen in those games.
Anthony Nwakaeme's fine form for Trabzonpor in February did not go unnoticed with the experienced winger named in the Turkish Super Lig Team of the Month.
The 32-year-old starts on the left side of midfield in the Team of the Month and was the best rated player at 8.4.
Nwakaeme directly participated in five goals (3 goals, 2 assists) in four games in February.
