'I'm a big fan of Thiago Silva' - Luton Town's Nigerian CB admits he looks up to Chelsea star
Published: March 02, 2022
In-form Championship side Luton Town are back in action this evening as they take on world champions Chelsea in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup at Kenilworth Road in Bedfordshire.
Hatters central defender Gabriel Osho has claimed that he is not scared of Chelsea who have in their ranks AFCON winner édouard Mendy, European champion Jorginho and world champion N'Golo Kante among other world-class players.
One player in the Chelsea squad that the Reading-born Nigerian star looks up to is the experienced Brazilian center back Thiago Silva.
Osho has helped Luton Town pick up six wins in their last seven matches across all competitions and is looking forward to facing the Premier League giants.
"I"m a big fan of Thiago Silva, he’s a brilliant player," Osho was quoted as saying by Luton Today.
"There’ll be no respect shown during the game though, we’ll be doing everything we can to win and be as physical as we can to win the game."

If selected by manager Nathan Jones, it would be the first time in Osho's career he has faced a team in the top-flight.
