Campbell urges Rangers to ensure they get top dollar for Aribo amid interest from EPL clubs

Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has urged Glasgow Rangers to squeeze as much money out of any team that makes a move for Joe Aribo in the summer.
The Nigeria international will enter the final twelve months of his contract with the Scottish Premiership champions in July and it is all but confirmed that he will end his association with the Light Blues in the summer whether or not Rangers earn a qualifying spot in the group stage of the Champions League.
The Premier League seems the likeliest destination for Aribo though his Nigerian agent Emeka Obasi has close links with German Bundesliga and French Ligue 1 clubs.
The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations star was valued in the region of ten million pounds at the start of the 2021-2022 season but the bitter truth is that his valuation could significantly drop considering that he would have just a year to run on his contract when the transfer window reopens.
Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell stated : "There comes a time where they (Aribo and Kent) will consider their futures.
"A lot of clubs will have been watching their progress. They are performing really well so clubs will be wanting them come the summer, clubs with big money. "

He added : "Unfortunately, Premier League teams are gonna come knocking for Aribo and Kent.
"What’s important for Rangers is that they get top dollar for them. That way they can restock the shelves in the summer."
Watford, Crystal Palace, Brentford, Southampton and Aston Villa are among the Premier League clubs monitoring the situation of Aribo.
