18yo Adaramola trains with two former Super Eagles invitees ahead of Palace trip to Wolves
Published: March 05, 2022Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira promoted promising left-back Tayo Adaramola to first team training on Friday before the Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 18-year-old Irish-Nigeria and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi were among the academy stars that took part in the final workout before the trip to Molineux Stadium.
Adaramola made his professional debut under the legendary Arsenal captain in Palace's 2-0 win over Hartlepool in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup, coming off the bench for the last four minutes, before making his starting debut in the fifth round win versus Stoke City.
Logically his next target is to be awarded a Premier League debut ball before the end of the 2021-2022 season and he came close to achieving his dream when he made the matchday squad for the visit of Chelsea on February 19 but watched proceedings from the bench for ninety minutes.
Adaramola trained alongside two former Super Eagles invitees Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise in Palace's training session on Friday.
The Republic of Ireland U19 international will become the second youngest Nigeria-eligible player at 18 years and 111 days, after Aston Villa midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka (17 years and 312 days) to feature in this season's Premier League if he is involved against Wolves.
