Crystal Palace sweating on the fitness of 2021 Super Eagles invitee before Arsenal game

Crystal Palace are sweating over the fitness of 2021 Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise before their English Premier League clash against Arsenal at Selhurst Park on Monday, April 4.
French sports daily L'Equipe says Olise pulled out of the France U21 squad on Sunday morning after feeling discomfort in his left foot due to a slight inflammation of a metatarsus and will play no part in Monday's friendly against Northern Ireland.
The Reading academy product became provisionally cap-tied to France when his made his competitive debut for the Bleuets in a 2023 U21 EURO qualifier against Faroe Islands last Thursday, coming off the bench for the last 26 minutes and had a hand in the second goal scored by France U21s in a 2-0 win.
Despite his competitive debut for France youth teams, Olise is still eligible to represent the senior national teams of Nigeria, Algeria and England.
The Anglo-French-Nigerian-Algerian winger is enjoying a fine debut season in the Premier League, with a goal involvement of seven in twenty-two appearances.
Olise missed the first one month of the season as he was recovering from injury and didn't make his full Premier League debut until the visit of Newcastle on October 23.
The 20-year-old bagged his first assist in the top-flight as Palace were forced to a 2-2 draw by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on October 18.
