Aribo scores spectacular goal for Rangers in 4-0 rout of St Mirren
Rangers got a mighty lift before their Europa League quarterfinal meeting with Sporting Braga after thrashing St Mirren 4-0 in a Scottish Premiership clash at the SMISA Stadium (Paisley) on Sunday afternoon.

It was a straightforward afternoon for the Light Blues as they were two goals up at the interval courtesy of two headers from Kemar Roofe.

Leon Balogun was a non-playing substitute, Joe Aribo went the full ninety and Calvin Bassey was rested ahead of Thursday's clash against Braga.

Four minutes into the second half, Roofe was able to score his first hat-trick in Rangers colours, firing in from close range at his second attempt, before Joe Aribo netted the pick of the goals with a curling 18-yard drive that went into the far corner.

It was the Nigeria international's first goal for Rangers in ten consecutive appearances across all competitions, with his last strike coming against Dundee United in the league on February 20.

After 33 matches in the division, Rangers are second in the table, six points behind city rivals Celtic.
