'Let's finish strong' - Arsenal icon Kanu sends message to Gunners players before Everton clash
Published: May 22, 2022
Arsenal Invincible Nwankwo Kanu has sent a message to the Gunners players before their final day meeting with Everton at the Emirates Stadium, urging them to finish the season on a positive note.
The Gunners' main objective this season was to return to the Champions League but their fate is no longer in their hands after suffering two successive defeats in away games at Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
To get back to the final Champions League places, Mikel Arteta's team must beat the Toffees and hope already-relegated Norwich City do them a favour by beating Tottenham.
The odds favour a win for Arsenal as they are unbeaten in their final league game in each of the last sixteen seasons, winning fourteen and drawing two.

A two-time Premier League winner with the Gunners, the 1996 Olympics gold medalist made 60 appearances in the Champions League with 44 coming in the colours of the north London club.
