Official : Fulham release Abraham, trigger one-year extension in Odutayo's contract
Published: May 23, 2022Premier League new boys Fulham have announced their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2021-2022 season.
One of the decisions made by the Cottagers higher-ups saw the release of Timmy Abraham, younger brother of the cap-tied England international of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham.
The younger Abraham will move on to pastures new upon the expiry of his contract at the end of next month.
The 21-year-old departs Craven Cottage without making his first team debut and embarked on four different loan spells at Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Raith Rovers and Newport County during his five-year association with the London club.
Meanwhile, Fulham have triggered a one-year extension in Idris Odutayo's contract and the central defender is now under contract until June 30, 2023.
The 19-year-old started 21 of the 26 matches played by Premier League 2 Division 2 champions, Fulham in 2021-2022.
