Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has announced his starting lineup for Thursday evening's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

Peseiro has opted for William Troost-Ekong and former Arsenal youth team skipper in central defence, in a decision that sees Kenneth Omeruo start on the bench.
As expected, Calvin Bassey has been preferred to Porto's Zaidu Sanusi at left-back and Chelsea academy product Ola Aina takes up the right-back slot.
It will be Rangers ace Joe Aribo and Hale End academy product Alex Iwobi in the center of midfield.
Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Umar Sadiq and Victor Osimhen occupy the forward positions.
