He scored for Man City U23 this week, showing again his huge skills.
Despite speculation surrounding his future, Edozie has reported for pre-season training at Manchester City development squad and was on target in a friendly this week.
However, he was omitted from Manchester City's 26-man traveling squad to the United States, an indication that he is not in the plans of first team boss Pep Guardiola for the forthcoming season.
Edozie participated in City's pre-season preparations before the start of the 2021-2022 campaign and was rewarded with a senior debut by the Spanish football tactician against Leicester City in the Community Shield.
The 19-year-old helped Manchester City's development squad win the Premier League 2 title in back-to-back seasons, scoring five goals in 29 games in the division.
He joined the Etihad outfit from Millwall in the summer of 2019.
