Chelsea striker of Nigerian descent joins League One club subject to medical
Published: September 01, 2022
Norwegian-Nigerian striker Bryan Fiabema is set to complete a deadline day move to EFL League One club Forest Green Rovers.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Norway youth international has agreed a season-long loan move to Forest Green Rovers after his loan spell at Rosenborg was cut short, four months before its expiration.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Fiabema landed in the English capital London on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old will put pen to paper on a contract with Rovers if he passes a medical examination.
Fiabema registered two goals and two assists in thirteen appearances for Rosenborg before returning to Chelsea.
Rosenborg had reached an agreement with The Blues for the permanent signing of the talented striker but he opted to return to his parent club due to a lack of first team opportunities at the Eliteserien club.
He started five league games from a possible nineteen in the Norwegian topflight during his loan spell at Rosenborg.
