Iheanacho admits Leicester City beating Tottenham would be massive

Kelechi Iheanacho has admitted that Leicester City beating Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening would be massive.
The Foxes have had an underwhelming start to the 2022-2023 campaign, losing five of their opening six games in the Premier League, while they were forced to a 2-2 draw by Brentford on the opening day.
Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur are one of the form teams in the division, claiming fourteen points from a possible eighteen, before the visit of Brendan Rodgers' Foxes.
Iheanacho has called on his teammates at Leicester City to stick together as a team and work hard if they want to end their recent slump in form and climb out of the relegation zone.
The Nigeria international was on target in a 5-2 loss against Brighton & Hove on September 4, in what was his first start of the season.
Speaking ahead of the trip to north London, Iheanacho said to Leicester City's official website : "It would be massive – so, so massive for the Club and for everyone involved. A win would give us the momentum to go forward this season. We need to defend as a team, attack as a team and just work hard as a team.
"We have been preparing very, very hard for this and hopefully it turns around this weekend. Training has been going quite well. The message has always been that we stick together whether we lose or win but right now we need to show character, hunger and desire.
"As players and as a team we know we can get the results we need, we showed that last season. So far this season, it’s just turned out the other way. We have great quality in this team, so we just need to believe in ourselves and get the points to get us back up there this season."
Iheanacho has faced Tottenham Hotspur nine times in his career, losing on eight occasions while finding the net three times.
