Alex Iwobi set up two goals to help Everton thrash Eberechi Eze's Crystal Palace 3-0 at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Hale End Academy product continues to earn rave reviews for his outstanding displays in the 2022-2023 season, playing in a new central midfield position.
Everton had the breakthrough in the 11th minute as Dominic Calvert-Lewin slotted past the Crystal Palace goalkeeper after he was fed by Iwobi, before Anthony Gordon doubled the advantage in the 63rd minute after a VAR review.
With a spectacular backheel flick, the Nigeria international laid the ball into the path of Dwight McNeil, who smashed home to make it 3-0
His brace of assists against the Eagles took his tally for the season to five from twelve Premier League matches, bettered only by Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Iwobi is the second top assist provider in the English top-flight, along with Manchester City's Bernardo Silva.
With the exception of the 1-0 loss to Newcastle United, the Everton number 17 has gone the distance in all the matches played by Frank Lampard's team in this season's Premier League.
