Super Eagles-eligible player in talks to terminate Fulham contract amid Rangers links

2017 England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder Josh Onomah could be ending his association with Premier League club Fulham before the close of the January transfer window.

According to Football Insider, the Tottenham Hotspur academy product is in talks with Fulham to terminate his contract, which would pave the way for him to join a new club as a free agent even after the close of the window.

Onomah has been linked with a move to Scottish giants Rangers, with manager Michael Beale a big admirer of the midfielder.

Unnamed Championship clubs in England are also monitoring the situation of the Super Eagles-eligible player and are prepared to firm up their interest as soon as he terminates his contract at Fulham.

Onomah has seen his first team opportunities limited since Fulham were promoted back to the Premier League.

The 25-year-old has logged a paltry thirteen minutes this season from a possible 2,160 in all competitions.

He has been on the books of Fulham since 2019 after spells at Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday.
