Manchester United-owned midfielder Maximillian Oyedele scored a fantastic goal as Altrincham and Oldham Athletic shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw in a National League match at Boundary Park on Good Friday.
Oyedele made a return to Altrincham's matchday squad after helping Poland's U19 national team qualify for the this summer's European U19 Championship during the last international break of the season.
The Robins trailed by two goals with ten minutes left on the clock after strikes from Joe Nuttall and Bassala Sambou.
Altrincham mounted a comeback, halving the deficit through Oyedele before Tyrese Sinclair grabbed the equalizer in the 89th minute,
A left-footed outswinging corner by Eddy Jones was half-cleared by the Latics defence and it fell kindly to Oyedele, who unleashed a spectacular first time volley from 25 yards that flew past goalkeeper Magnus Norman.
Oyedele netted his first senior goal against Woking on February 18, then his second against Barnet three days later, before making it three goals in eight appearances in the division with his spectacular strike versus Oldham Athletic.
