Retired United States international midfielder Jesse Marsch is being tipped to become the new manager of the Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi at Leicester City.
This is according to transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano who also added that talks are at an advanced stage between Leicester and Marsch.
The Foxes sacked former manager Brendan Rodgers last week and are in desperate need of a new coach that could save them from being relegated.
Leicester sit 19th in the Premier League standings, having garnered 25 points from 30 games.
Marsch, who was dismissed as Leeds United boss in February, was responsible for preserving the West Yorkshire side's Premier League status last season
It's being hoped by Leicester management that the American can repeat the same feat with them if appointed as manager.
Similar to the fate of their club, Iheanacho and Ndidi are not having their best season with the Foxes.
Despite scoring three goals and registering four assists, Iheanacho has started just seven Premier League games all season.
Ndidi, on the other hand, used to be a mainstay in the Foxes midfield but has had game time reduced. He has started 15 games out of the 24 times he has been named in the matchday squad.
The former Genk man has not been convincing with his performance and that explains his drop in game time.
The Super Eagles duo will be hoping they can be in the plans of Jesse Marsch or whoever is named as the new manager.
