Arsenal youth product Nathan Tella has been named the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month for March following his exceptional performance for Burnley.
Tella was in red hot form for the Clarets in the month under consideration, scoring five goals in four appearances.
He bagged a brace against Wigan Athletic at Turf Moor and a hat-trick away at Hull City.
Tella, who is on loan from Southampton, beat off competition from fellow Arsenal youth product and Middlesbrough forward, Chuba Akpom, and his teammate, Cameron Archer, Coventry City's Victor Gyökeres, Tommy Doyle of Sheffield United and Ki Jana-Hoever of Stoke City to the monthly award.
Speaking after receiving his award, the 23-year-old told Burnley's official website : "I'm delighted to win this award. Thank you to my teammates, I couldn't have done this without them. As well as the staff, also a shout out to the fans - I appreciate your support, you keep me going."
Tella has been a key player for Vincent Kompany's Premier League-bound side so far this campaign, registering 17 goals and notching five assists in 38 games in the Championship.
The Nigeria-eligible winger has twenty four goal involvements in 44 appearances in all competitions for Burnley and it is no surprise that the Clarets are hoping to make his loan move permanent.
