Flying Eagles camp update : Bosso begins running the rule over Arsenal, Norwich, Botev Plodviv starlets

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso has started running the rule over some of the foreign-based professionals invited to the pre-World Cup training camp.

The Nigeria Football Federation officially invited twelve foreign-based players to the training camp taking place in the country's capital, Abuja, with two on the books of English clubs.

Arsenal's development squad winger Joel Ideho and Norwich City striker Kenny Coker have both reported for international duty and trained with the team on Tuesday.

From the feelers being received from the Flying Eagles camp, things are not looking good for Ideho as regards to his possible inclusion on the final 21-man roster for the World Cup following his late arrival in Abuja.

Botev Plodviv starlets Ume Emmanuel and Tochukwu Nnadi showed up to the training camp on Sunday, and are also being assessed by Bosso.

2023 U20 AFCON star Abel Ogwuche will link up the squad on Wednesday, while Istanbulspor defender Michael Ologo is not in contention to be named in the final squad to Argentina.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation are still negotiating with the two Milan clubs to release Inter's Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and AC Milan's Victor Eletu before the team's trip to Argentina on May 6.

Inter are insisting that Akinsanmiro would be released to the Nigerian Federation a week before the start of the tournament in Argentina.
