Sierra Leone have named a 25-man travelling squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles in Monrovia.
As confirmed on Sierra Leone Football Association's Twitter handle, Leone Stars head coach John Keister has included 14 home-based players and 11 foreign-based players in his provisional squad to face Nigeria.
Headlining the list is former Tottenham Hotspur schoolboy Steven Caulker who is the captain of the side and has been with them since 2021 after switching allegiance from England to Sierra Leone.
Another name familiar with fans of English football included in the travelling squad is Idris Kanu who was a schoolboy at West Ham United before moving on to pastures new.
