19-time Italian champions firm up their interest in Chukwueze with official offer to Villarreal
Published: July 05, 2023
19-time Italian champions AC Milan have presented their first offer to Villarreal for the services of Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze but the price of the offer has not been revealed.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via Milan news, the Italian outfit have started negotiating with their Spanish counterparts regarding the sale of the electric winger.
Chukwueze is AC Milan's priority for the right flank of the attack as they seek to bounce back from the disappointment of last season which saw them almost miss out on qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
They have already completed the signing of Chelsea Academy graduate Ruben Loftus-Cheek and are keen to add the Super Eagles star to their ranks before the closure of the transfer window.
The Rossoneri have already agreed on personal terms with the Villarreal number 11 and they will be hoping to strike an agreement with the Yellow Submarine for his signature.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a brilliant campaign with Quique Satien's side last term, notching 13 goals and eleven assists in all competitions.
Chukwueze's current contract ends next year and the Spanish outfit are willing to cash in on him in this transfer window to prevent losing him for free next summer.
