Good to go: Tri-national Fisayo Dele-Bashiru accepts Super Eagles call-up, has a Nigerian passport

Manchester City academy product Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has yet to make an official statement regarding his first call-up to the Super Eagles ahead of the October internationals against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
Despite his silence, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that the central midfielder has accepted a call-up to represent the Super Eagles in the upcoming international window.
Dele-Bashiru is eligible to play international football for Germany where he was born, England where he was raised and Nigeria through his parents, but playing for the Super Eagles was his first choice from the word go.
And he is not entirely new to the Nigeria set-up as he trained with the Flying Eagles in Germany before the 2019 Fifa U20 World Cup
Fisayo didn't make the Nigeria U20s roster back then because his elder brother Tom Dele-Bashiru was ahead of him in manager Paul Aigbogun's pecking order of central midfielders.
It is understood that the Hatayspor star has a Nigerian passport, which puts him in contention to make his international debut for Nigeria this month.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is the ninth multinational player in the current Super Eagles squad who has chosen to play for Nigeria over other European countries, a list that includes Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Jordan Torunarigha, Semi Ajayi , Calvin Bassey, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi and Ademola Lookman.
The former Sheffield Wednesday man, who is fluent in Yoruba, is in the best form of his career ahead of his trip to Portugal next week, having registered six goal involvements in seven appearances for Hatayspor.
