Anglo-Nigerian midfielder Shola Shoretire has won the Premier League 2 Goal of the Season award for his wonderful strike against Chelsea in January at Kingsmeadow.
With the away side trailing 2-1, the talented midfielder showed brilliance and incredible composure to level the scoreline and turn the game on its head.
Right at the hour mark, the 20-year-old played a one-two with his teammate, then flicked the ball past a defender before drilling the ball past the goalkeeper with his right foot.
Shoretire netted United's first goal, showing great footwork to half the deficit with the strike nominated for the Red Devils' January Goal of the Month but lost out to Rasmus Højlund.
The former England U19 player was in stellar form in the Premier League 2 this season, failing to score or assist in just three of the games he played.
He scored seven goals in nine games which included two braces against the Blues and Sunderland respectively and was also responsible assisting his teammates four times.
Since his appearance against the Blues, Shoretire didn't feature for the young Red Devils till the end of the season.
He played 12 games across all competitions and registered nine goals and four assists.
