2025 Afcon: Super Eagles to face Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania in Group C; complete draw

Nigeria have been drawn in Group C of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in the draw ceremony held on Monday evening in Rabat, Morocco.
The Super Eagles have been grouped alongside the 2019 edition's semi-finalists, Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania.
Nigeria qualified for the tournament by finishing first in Group D of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, having earned 11 points from a possible 18.
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will be the 35th edition of the tournament with the first edition being held in 1957 and Nigeria have featured twenty-one times
The Super Eagles have won the tournament on three occasions with their last triumph being in 2013 under late Stephen Keshi.
Newly appointed Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle, will be hoping to follow the footsteps of Otto Glória and Clemens Westerhof to become the third foreign coach to win the AFCON for the Super Eagles.
The competition will kick start on December 21, 2025 and will come to a close on January 18 2026.
