AC Milan ready to sell Super Eagles forward Chukwueze amid interest from La Liga club
Published: June 15, 2025
AC Milan have reportedly placed Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze on the transfer list ahead of next season, according to Milan News.
Chukwueze, who joined the Rossoneri from Villarreal in the summer of 2023, has struggled to find consistency at the San Siro.
In 69 appearances across all competitions, the Nigerian International has managed just eight goals and six assists.
Despite flashes of his trademark flair, he has failed to fully adapt to life in Serie A and is now set for a move away.
Reports suggest interest from Spanish La Liga side Real Betis, who are monitoring Chukwueze's situation closely as they consider a potential swoop.
AC Milan’s decision comes as the club undergoes changes under newly appointed manager Massimiliano Allegri, who has begun shaping his squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Allegri has also deemed Loftus-Cheek and Noah Okafor surplus to requirements as he looks to revamp the team.
Loftus-Cheek, who arrived from Chelsea in 2023, featured prominently last season but failed to consistently impact games from midfield, while Okafor has struggled to earn a regular starting role since his arrival from RB Salzburg.
All three players are expected to assess their options as they seek new challenges.
For Chukwueze in particular, a move could reignite his career and offer a fresh opportunity to rediscover his best form.
