Serie A: Chukwueze not alone as Super Eagles players' market values decrease; Lookman, Osimhen static
Published: June 18, 2025
Football statistics and transfer market website Transfermarkt has released its latest market value update for Serie A players, with three Super Eagles stars among those whose valuations have taken a hit.
AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze, Empoli right-back Tyronne Ebuehi, and Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru have all seen their market values decline following underwhelming 2024–25 campaigns.
Chukwueze, who endured limited game time at Milan, is now valued at €10 million, a €4 million drop from his March 2025 valuation.
The former Villarreal star has been linked with a summer move away from San Siro, with reports suggesting a return to Spain could be on the cards.
Ebuehi's sharp decline follows a season in which he logged just 132 minutes across five appearances in all competitions after recovering from a serious injury.
The Dutch-born defender is now worth €1 million, a stark contrast to Nigeria'S top-rated right-back Ola Aina, whose value stands at €22 million.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru also suffered a €500,000 downgrade, having started just 12 league matches for Lazio.
The ex-Manchester City academy graduate had peaked at €8 million in March.
Meanwhile, Napoli-owned forward Victor Osimhen (€70 million) and Atalanta talisman Ademola Lookman (€60 million) remain Nigeria’s two most valuable players globally, with their valuations unchanged.
