Published: July 01, 2025
Paul Onuachu is set to make his highly anticipated return to Trabzonspor this week, following the club’s announcement of his arrival date.
According to Gunebakış, the Nigerian striker will travel to the Netherlands before flying to Trabzon on Wednesday evening aboard a private plane arranged by the club.
The towering striker is making a return to Trabzonspor, where he enjoyed a prolific 2023–2024 campaign, netting 17 goals in 25 appearances.
His performances made him a favourite among supporters, and the news of his comeback has sparked excitement across the fanbase.
Onuachu’s previous arrival in Trabzon drew large crowds, as he was greeted warmly at the airport with his wife and daughter.
This time, the striker will be travelling with an even larger family, joined by his wife, daughter, and a new baby boy.
The family of four is expected to land in Trabzon on Wednesday evening, adding a personal touch to what is seen as one of the club’s most significant moves of the summer.
Trabzonspor recently introduced Onuachu through special digital content linked to the NFC on their official jersey, underlining the club’s confidence in his impact ahead of the new season.
His return is viewed as a major boost to the team’s attacking strength as they prepare for domestic and European competitions.
The club and its supporters are eager to see Onuachu back in the Claret Blue jersey, hoping he can replicate the form that made him such an important figure during his first spell.
His arrival marks the culmination of a carefully managed process that reflects Trabzonspor’s ambition for the coming season.
