Southampton midfielder Aribo not keen on following Ndidi, Uduokhai and Abraham to Besiktas

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo is not keen on joining Turkish giants Besiktas despite interest from the club, following Southampton's relegation to the Championship.
The Black Eagles, now under the leadership of Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjær, have been active in the transfer market this summer, reinforcing their squad with players of Nigerian descent.
Chelsea academy graduate Tammy Abraham has joined the Istanbul club on a season-long loan, while onetime Nigeria Football Federation target Felix Uduokhai was signed permanently after impressing during a loan stint.
Besiktas officially confirmed on Wednesday that negotiations are underway with Leicester City and Wilfred Ndidi over a potential transfer for the Nigeria national teamer.
According to The Sun UK, Aribo is reluctant to leave the English south coast, even with the lure of European football offered by the Super Lig side.
Aribo joined Southampton in 2022 after an impressive spell at Scottish Premiership team Rangers.
Last term, he featured in 32 league games, scoring three goals while being deployed in various roles under multiple managers.
However, his efforts were not enough to prevent the club from dropping out of the Premier League.
Once a key figure for the Super Eagles, Aribo has recently slipped down the pecking order behind the likes of Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Frank Onyeka, and emerging talent Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
