Lazio Join Scramble For MICHAEL ENERAMO
Published: June 14, 2012
Italian club Lazio have joined the hunt for Michael Eneramo, according to reports in Turkey and Italy.
Lazio are studying five strikers that can partner Miroslav Kolse in attack next season. Top priority is Burak Yilmaz who is also being courted by Galatasaray. Negotiations for Trabzonspor forward Burak Yilmaz are ongoing.
Turkey's biggest football website Fanatik has informed that should Lazio fail to land Burak Yilmaz, attention will shift to the bulky Nigerian forward who netted 16 goals (10 assists) while playing for Sivasspor, Turkey.
Vladimir Petkovic, the coach of Lazio, is one of the numerous admirers of Eneramo. The 48-year-old Bosnian gaffer started last season as the coach of Samsunspor, but left in January when the club was faced with relegation.
Eneramo, who is spending his summer vacation in the Netherlands, is also being trailed by teams in Turkey - Trabzonspor, Kayserispor, Besiktas, Bursaspor and Eskisehirspor - Germany and France.
