Exclusive: Kano Pillars Set To Seal Shirt Sponsorship Deal With Indomie Noodles
Published: October 05, 2012
Nigeria champions Kano Pillars are negotiating a lucrative shirt sponsorship deal with Dufil-Prima Foods Limited, manufacturers of Indomie Noodles.
The director of Diamond Skylinq Sport Agency (Mr Idris Ibrahim), who is the consultant to Kano Pillars FC, told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''Negotiation has progressed smoothly so far and very soon we shall witness an effective partnership between the two brands which will be a coherent effort towards achieving a WIN-WIN outcome.''
He added: ''The two brands fit perfectly as Indomie Noodles is the leading brand in the noodle industry while Kano Pillars is a top brand in Nigeria football with the largest follower-ship, likewise they are the newly crowned champions of the NPL and will be playing in the CAF champions league next season.''
The deal will also see Indomie Noodles benefit in terms of brand visibility and exposure because sports sponsorship provides reach, passion and engagement. However, an effective activation plan will also be formulated which will have direct effect on the sales of the company
According to leaks gathered by our Editorial Staff, there was a meeting between the Kano Pillars hierarchy and Dufil-Prima Foods Limited on Thursday at Indomie's Regional Office in Kano. While Kano Pillars' asking amount for Indomie Noodles to brand their kits is =N=50 million, the noodles manufacturers are willing to offer =N=30 million. Hopefully, negotiations shall be concluded before the end of October.
