Eagles Final List To Be Made Public On Wednesday
Published: January 08, 2013
Followers of the Super Eagles might have to wait until the next 36 hours before the final list of 23 players going to the African Cup of Nations becomes public knowledge, spokesman of the Super Eagles and Editor of Sport Day Ben Alaiya has disclosed.
MTNFootball.com quoted Alaiya as saying: ''The team list will be ready today (Tuesday) by lunch time, but I don't think it will be released to the public today because the list has to be send to NFF technical committee to approve it.
''We are expecting NFF president Aminu Maigari, technical committee chairman Chris Green and sports minister Bolaji Aminu, if they arrive in time, it could make it faster to make public the list. ''
Meanwhile, expectations are very high in camp as players want to know if they made the final roster which will now be released on Wednesday, the deadline CAF gave national associations to submit their team lists.
