Emmanuel Adebayor Will Not Play For Togo At Nations Cup

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor will not play for Togo at the African Cup of Nations despite his inclusion in the 23 - man roster, according to authoritative French sports daily L'Equipe.
It is reported that Adebayor has announced his decision to the Hawks gaffer Didier Six not to participate in the tournament which runs from 19 January to 10 February. But the French coach of the Hawks failed to inform the leadership of the Togo Football Federation.
Togo are in Group D with tournament favorites Ivory Coast, Tunisia and Algeria.
